HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM E-MAIL MINISTRY
I hope that all of you had a good Christmas and New Year’s.
As I mentioned at the beginning of December, I took some time off to consider the future of this ministry in light of personal and professional issues that have (and continue) to overwhelm my life. Since all of life’s issues can’t be avoided, I’m learning how to “accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things I can – and the wisdom to know the difference”
To be honest with you, I have not gotten a clear direction from God about this ministry. Therefore, I hope to continue with it through this year. However, the messages will more than likely not be on the scheduled Monday, Wednesday & Friday but more ad-hoc as time and energy allow.
I started this ministry 19 years ago last Dec 3rd with 15 people. It has grown to over 15,000 people around the world.
One of the issues with an internet based ministry – as opposed to a traditional in-person ministry – is the almost total lack of feedback. To be honest, there are long periods of time when I wondered if anyone was really reading the messages and, if they were, did they have any impact.
I want to thank those people who replied to my previous e-mail with words of encouragement, appreciation and prayer. I am grateful for your support. Even though I don’t do this ministry for any personal gain, it is nice to know that my efforts are helping others.
